A Healed Bride Brings Healing to the Nations
It has been nearly a year since we hosted the Mental Health and Trauma Summit in YWAM Chatel. That gathering focused on the integration of medical psychiatry, trauma healing with healing prayer ministry. Teaching on subjects of mental health from both a scientific as well as prayer created a movement that has set the path since that time. Mike Hutchings trauma teaching has opened a door for this integrated model of care to expand.
Our teams have brought this message of trauma healing and integration to Belem Brazil, Santo Domingo, California, Pennsylvania, Barbados, Honolulu and Boston. As a result, a mental health clinic was started in Santo Domingo at the Eglisia Fuente de Poder Divino. In Boston, we are working with regional leaders connected with Congregation Leon de Juda and the Miracle Mile homeless project. We are also exploring connections for trauma care in Israel. Through Kalihi Union Church in Honolulu we are training teams and will host a conference in Lancaster Pennsylvania on September 20th.
The surprise revelation during this season has been how addressing chronic trauma issues in a person’s life released spiritual and physical healing as well. Mike showed us that the word trauma is the word wound in English.
Jeremiah 8 states
21 Since my people are crushed, I am crushed;
I mourn, and horror grips me.
22 Is there no balm in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?
Why then is there no healing
for the wound of my people?
Isaiah 53
4 Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
And finally Isaiah 61
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
The ministry of Jesus began in his home synagogue in Nazareth with this IS 61 scroll. He was rejected and then went to Galilee to spread the kingdom message. Physical healing and demon expulsion was the hallmark of this ministry. I began to notice that IS 61 speaks of soul and spirit healing more than physical. What is the connection??
I believe we are seeing much physical healing and demon expulsion through the trauma message that we are sharing. The apparent link between the effects of “stored trauma” in various body systems and healing that results when the trauma is addressed.
In our various projects, we are focusing on training many to be comfortable using a brief trauma teaching and prayer. As this unfolds, we are gathering those gifted in inner healing and deliverance to join the movement of healing prayer and medical integration. As the team grows, we will be able to connect medical professionals with this teams to create the THS model in many locations.

He paid the price on the cross as shown in Isaiah 53:5
